I will miss not getting Starfield and other Bethesda games. I am sad it's not coming to PS5 though, prefer it over Xbox/PC. Doom is not for me and Wolfenstein's last outing was just awful. I had enemies fall through the ground making me unable to kill them when the current mission required me to clear out a house full of enemies, forcing a reload. My argument was that it won't be anywhere near as successful as their previous games in terms of sales. They can wear armor of different sizes and quality that you find, or even make and improve for them.
Game Pass will simply have to charge more and more and watch out for the backlash. I was more likely to check out an Xbox before this move honestly.
I honestly really wanna know what your educational background is. Paying for timed exclusives, whether it be MS or Sony or Epic, is paying another publisher to not release their already fully funded game on other platforms for X amount of time. Bethesda's Elder Scrolls VI as an exclusive will not come close to Skyrim, it simply can't.
They also frequently buy sniper rifles from the Gun Runners. But even in the WRPG space, there's so many developers breaking out of the mold: Larian, Warhorse, CDPR(When they've patched their games for 6 months), Techland, and others. Anyone hoping for Bethesda games on PS5 besides those already announced is delusional. But if XBox players were upset that a game that was originally multiplat was suddenly now exclusive to one platform, I wouldn't waste my breath telling them they're wrong for feeling that way. Particularly when it hardly has any exclusives worth caring about these days. Starfield will = Cyberpunk 2077 i.e a Buggy mess Like 99% of PC like games.
